Business Analysts are required to specify and model requirements, as well as manage them from inception to retirement. Students participate in the tasks of requirements life cycle management for the purpose of maintaining requirements from inception to retirement: trace, maintain, prioritize, assess requirement changes, and approve requirements. In addition, students participate in the tasks of requirements analysis and design definition, to assess the business value associated with a potential solution and recommend the solution that delivers the greatest value to the organization. By utilizing BABOK'R' tasks and techniques to define stakeholder and solution requirements, students have business analysis work packages that can be utilized in the organization for communication and collaboration with stakeholders.
