CCSR Awards
The CCSR Awards recognize outstanding contribution and excellence by individuals and corporations in carrying out and following the core values of Social Responsibility. The Awards recipients have demonstrated an ongoing and unwavering commitment to the achievement and creation of shard value for their organizations and the community.
Each Award is sponsored by one academic institution. The Awards recipients will be announced during the CCSR Conference at the afternoon event and evening Gala.For criteria on being a recipient >>

Apply for Awards
For the 2012 conference you can only apply for one of the awards directly:
- U of O Social Innovation Enterprise of the year
The emphasis here is on innovation. The award will be given to the organization that has demonstrated social, environmental or governance responsibility in the most innovative way.
Organizations participating in the CCSR conference can apply for the award by sending a description of how they have engaged in social, environmental or governance responsibility in a particularly innovative way to David Wright (dwright@uottawa.ca) by October 28, 2012. He will arrange for submissions to be judged by a panel of professors at the Telfer School of Management at the University of Ottawa.
Criteria for selection.
Entries should provide an overall description (1-2 pages) plus a short paragraph (100-200 words) on each of the following criteria. The paragraphs may (optionally) link to additional web-based material. Entries will be graded on each of the following criteria and an overall score obtained. The weighting factor giving the relative importance of each criterion is indicated.
- Demonstrated innovative approach compared to the industry the organization is in. (weighting 3)
- Quantifiable measurement of the impact. (weighting 1)
- Sustainability for a number of years, as opposed to a once-off project. (weighting 1)
- Integration with strategic goals of the organization. (weighting 1
