Degrees that work
Job-ready with hands-on learning
Employers are looking for specialized, highly-trained graduates. Many degree programs have a work or co-op placement — allowing students to make connections in their field and gain an advantage with future job applications.
Recognized and respected
Algonquin College degrees meet the same provincial standards as Ontario universities — it’s a quality education with a history of success. Canadian colleges began offering degrees about two decades ago to meet the changing needs of the labour market.
Smaller class sizes
Our degree programs tend to have smaller class sizes, which means more interaction between students and professors. While there’s an occasional large class or theatre, classes are usually smaller than at many universities.
Industry-responsive programs
Students turn their passion into an education with our unique programs. From Robotics to Interior Design, Public Safety to Hospitality and beyond, Algonquin College is continually adding new programs to meet the needs of communities and the evolving workforce.
