MANICURES AND PEDICURES
Course: HLT0061
Students are introduced to the procedures for a manicure and pedicure using a variety of nail, hand, and foot care products and equipment. Students learn to identify disorders of the skin and nails and contraindications for specific procedures. French manicure, men's manicure and hand/arm, foot/leg massage techniques are introduced. Equipment and salon setup and sanitation are studied and applied to the practice setting.
Notes
It is mandatory all students enrolled in the course purchase a tools kit to complete course learning outcomes. Kit fees: $392 + Tax ($50.96) (based on supplier price fluctuations). All kit arrangements are reviewed and made during Week #1, orientation class.
