Student Experience

What to Expect

The Early Childhood Education program at Algonquin College prepares students to become educators of young children in a variety of early learning settings. The program provides students with a combination of theoretical, play-based curriculum, and practice teaching placements. Students have the opportunity to participate in workshops, to practice observations, see curriculum and children in action in our onsite lab school, the Early Learning Centre, and other hands-on learning experiences.
