VPA Role and Responsibilities

Reporting directly to the President, the Senior Vice President, Academic Services is the senior academic officer of the college. The Senior Vice President has overall responsibility for providing leadership, management and strategic planning for a broad range of academic programming and personnel. The Senior Vice President is an active participant in the overall management of the college as a member of the Algonquin College Executive Team and is responsible for a wide range of academic-related service areas that support the College’s teaching and learning purpose. The incumbent is committed to achieving and contributing to college-wide goals and objectives.
