President meets with Indigenous Knowledge Keepers

On Tuesday, March 11, 2025 Algonquin College President and CEO Claude Brulé met with Knowledge Keeper Kirby Whiteduck, KnowledgeKirby Whiteduck, Claude Brule, Jenny Tenasco and Anita Tenasco meet to discuss Indigenous initiatives in the president's office. Keeper Jenny Buckshot Tenasco and Director of Indigenous Initiatives Anita Tenasco.

This ongoing series of meetings between the president and Indigenous Elders is one of the many ways Algonquin College continues its commitment toward reconciliation. Through knowledge sharing, regular conversations and participation in events, the College is ensuring good work is being done and relationships with Indigenous partners are strong.

This relationship is an example of Sigwan – moving into the spring season and our ongoing connections with Anishinàbe Algonquin Knowledge Keepers.
