Electronic Grading

Self-access grading machine is also available for faculty use inside the Employee Learning Exchange in C123

The Test Centre provides the supplies and services for electronic grading of multiple-choice quizzes, tests, and exams. Come to the Test Centre to pick up the necessary materials or to ask for assistance. Results are sent directly to faculty via email. We strive to provide E.G., results as soon as possible, and within 48 hours (2 business days) upon receipt.

To ensure that you receive your results as soon as possible:

  • HB pencil must be used and press firmly (NO PENS). Electronic Grading clerk will NOT pencil in any bubbles
  • Only 1 answer per question
  • No staples on any sheet
  • Maximum of 200 questions
  • Make sure all sheets are clean, straight and in the same direction.
Scantron sheets should be aligned in the same direction, in the correct order. Pages should not be folded
  • Each section/version must be bundled separately with a header and master score sheet
  • Do not erase answers on the MSS form. The form must be re-done as the scanner is very sensitive to erasing
  • Student scantron sheets should include only include student name and number (written and bubbles filled in) along with their answers
  • All submissions must be in an envelope
  • Electronic Grading drop box, just at the bottom of the stairs at Student Central
