Sustainability Vocational Learning Outcome (VLO)
Sustainability in the Curriculum
All Algonquin College Ontario credential programs have included in the curriculum an identified sustainability-related Vocational Learning Outcome (VLO). This ensures that concepts of sustainability and internationalization are taught and assessed at the program-level and are relevant to the discipline of study.
The wording of the VLO is:
Identify and apply discipline-specific practices that contribute to the local and global community through social responsibility, economic commitment and environmental stewardship.
