Sexual Violence Prevention Training and Giveaway

Project Lighthouse is pleased to offer you this self-directed sexual violence awareness and prevention training in their ongoing efforts to foster a safe and respectful environment at Algonquin College.
Enrol in the training today and do your part to contribute to a campus culture that values respect and consent and is free of sexual violence!
About the training:
There are four modules in this training. With the help of character driven scenarios, you will learn about:
- Sexual violence and who is impacted
- How consent means more than “yes means yes”
- How to intervene if you see something inappropriate happening
- What to do if someone tells you they have been sexually assaulted
Having this kind of knowledge is a baseline for healthy relationships!

This term, you will also receive the NEW SVP badge that will go 
on your Brightspace profile after you complete the training! This badge represents your commitment to creating a campus and community free of sexual violence.
Participants who complete the modules AND the final quiz will be entered to win a prize valued at $200. The earlier you complete the training and quiz, the more prizes you will have the chance to win! Prize winners will be drawn on the following dates:

- November 1
- November 15
- November 29
About Project Lighthouse: Project Lighthouse aims to shine a light on the topic of sexual violence and help you navigate healthy sexual relationships. Through compassion, education, and awareness, this initiative aims to reduce sexual violence at Algonquin College and support survivors of sexual violence.
