AC Virtual Study Space

Wishing you were on campus with your peers so you could set up all your supplies and work away to get ready for final assessments? Missing seeing other students? If so, this is the next best thing — the AC Hub and the Student Learning Centre (SLC) are excited to introduce the AC Virtual Study Space!

Join us for this drop-in session that offers:

  • dedicated study time that will bring you views from the Ottawa campus
  • the support you need to succeed in your final assessments

This session will be broken down into two parts (come for the first part, the second, or the whole thing!):

11am-12pm • Drop-in Style Study Space

Work on your own, but amongst your peers! It can be easy to procrastinate when you’re working solo, but during this dedicated study time you can make sure you’re making progress, whether that’s finishing projects or studying for finals. You’re encouraged to turn your camera on for the session to see your peers and connect with your community (introverts fear not, you’re welcome to leave your cameras off!).

Oh, and we have your study playlist covered! As you work, listen to Zachary Martin Music play some relaxing tunes live from the Horticulture Building at the Ottawa campus. (Connect with Zachary on YouTube, Instagram, and Facebook.)

12pm-1pm • Academic Support featuring the SLC Coaches

The Student Learning Centre offers a variety of services that can help you succeed in your classes, including coaching in the fundamentals (writing, ESL, math, computers, and anatomy), coaching in specific classes, and workshops on a variety of timely topics.

Check out the workshops that will be offered during the AC Virtual Study Space and register in advance for one that sparks your interest. This list has been curated to the topics that will help you most with your finals!
