eCo-op Information Session
Nov 05, 2024 |2:00pm-3:00pm
Do you have a business idea you’d like to explore while earning academic credit? If you are currently enrolled in a program with a Co-op option and would like to be your own boss for a full academic term, Entrepreneurship Co-op (eCo-op) might be right for you.
The eCo-op program at Algonquin College provides a platform to bring your ideas to life under the guidance of an experienced mentor. From developing a business model to pitching your business to potential customers, eCo-op can help you turn your idea into a viable business.
Ready to get started? Register for this mandatory in-person information session on Tuesday, November 5 from 2 pm to 3 pm in the DARE Incubator (Room C278) to learn more about the eCo-op program!
Key points about eCo-op:
- Open to all co-op eligible programs except for the Bachelor of Engineering, Automation, & Robotics.
- Only 12 projects will be accepted for the Winter 2025 term.
- All eCo-op opportunities are unpaid.
- Individuals or teams of up to four people can participate in the program. We encourage you to choose a team with members from different programs and fields of study.
- The business idea presented in your application must be relevant to your academic program.
Open to all current Algonquin College students. If you cannot attend the available times, you must arrange a meeting with Stephen Gagné, Entrepreneurship Officer at gagnes1@algonquincollege.com.
Presented by the Entrepreneurship Centre.
