Mādahòkì Farm Field Trip

On Wednesday, November 1, join the Volunteer Centre for a trip to Mādahòkì Farm! Located in Ottawa’s Greenbelt, Mādahòkì Farm offers authentic cultural experiences from an Indigenous perspective.

This trip will include a guided tour of the farm and outdoor volunteer activity. Please dress appropriately for the weather and wear casual clothes that can get dirty. Boots or running shoes are best for footwear and gloves will be handy.

Lunch and travel will be provided. The bus will depart from Algonquin College at 9:40am. Please meet at the AC Hub before then. The bus will leave the farm at 1:30pm, arriving back to campus at 2:00pm.

This event is open to current Algonquin College students only. To register, visit the AC Hub Front Desk (2nd Floor, Student Commons) with a $20 cash deposit (reimbursed at the event) to secure your spot. Tickets are limited (first-come, first-served). One per student.

Cancellations: To receive a refund, please cancel your ticket in person at the AC Hub front desk 48 hours before the event.

Latecomers: If you are more than 15 minutes late, you will not be able to collect your deposit and your spot will be given to the next student.
