Mental Health Awareness Week: Resilience in the Face of Adversity with AC Grad Caroline Marchand

Jan 29, 2021 |11:30am-12:30pm

At this Mental Health Awareness Week event, join Caroline Marchand — a graduate of Algonquin College’s Television Broadcasting program and a current Associate Director at CBC Television — as she gives an inspiring talk on resilience.

At 22, Caroline suffered a serious brain injury that resulted in life-threatening surgeries and a long road of physical, mental, and emotional recovery. Throughout the hardships and trauma, Caroline has remained resilient and motivated to keep pushing forward, which helped her land her dream job at CBC. Learn how she persevered, and how you can apply some of the lessons Caroline learned to your own life.

Open to all Algonquin College students, alumni, and employees. Advance registration is required. You will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting after you register.
