This service is offered to prospective students (or current students who are interested in pursuing more education at Algonquin). Make a more informed program and career choice through group workshops, one-on-one short term career counselling, and interactive video modules.
Career Counselling
Career counselling is a service provided to current students to help you chart a career direction that works for you. Algonquin’s counselling team is a group of professionals trained in the art of helping students develop a workable career plan. Get help if you’re questioning your program choice, uncertain about your career goals, or in jeopardy of you failing your program.
Call or visit the Welcome Centre (3rd floor of Student Commons/E Building, 613-727-4723 ext. 7200) and ask for a career counselling appointment.

Work Study Program
At Algonquin, you can study and work part-time through on-campus job opportunities. Students in financial need of employment opportunities on campus can check out the College Student Employment Program (CSEP) for eligibility.
DARE Entrepreneurship Centre
The Entrepreneurship Centre at Algonquin College is a dynamic hub that empowers entrepreneurs to ideate, launch, and grow their businesses with the support of experts and mentors.
