Algonquin College expects its employees to foster an environment which reflects the College values of Caring, Learning, Integrity and Respect, adhering to high ethical standards while performing their duties. No conflict should exist or appear to exist between the personal affairs, private interests and activities of employees and their work at the College.

The College has established a Safe to Speak Up Policy (AD 21) to support the reporting of serious misconduct, wrongdoing, or illegal activity occurring within the College, including but not limited to criminal offenses, negligent, improper or gross mismanagement of College funds, breaches of federal, provincial, or municipal statutes or college policy or procedure. If
you suspect a violation, you can communicate it anonymously.

The IntegrityCounts reporting platform of Whistleblower Hotline Services supports the College values surrounding integrity and transparency and can be used to report anonymously and in complete confidence. If you have any knowledge of practices which may be unlawful and/or unethical, we encourage you to use this platform to report this directly to the most senior levels of the College. Your report will be submitted and administered through a third-party, “Whistleblower Security Inc.”.
