Risk Assessment & Monitoring

The College Enterprise Risk Management Policy (AD19) includes an Enterprise Risk Management Guideline. The guideline describes the enterprise risk management process and introduces the standard approach to risk assessment. This approach has been adopted as an effective process by which risks can be identified, assessed (both inherent and residual risk), controlled through the adoption of appropriate risk mitigation plans, and monitored.

College Corporate Risk Profile

Every two years the College updates the Corporate Risk Profile to reflect the current risk landscape and provides a list of high risks that are monitored quarterly through the Audit and Risk Management Committee of the Board of Governors.

Risk Assessment Tool

The most current version of the tool that is referenced in the guideline document can be downloaded here as an excel spreadsheet. Instructions are included within the file. The use of this tool is intended to help support business case development and business planning as well as provide a useful, consistent format for risk assessment.
