Rental Vehicles

All rental vehicles must be paid for using the Algonquin College Corporate Visa Card.

The Purchase Visa Card does not provide insurance coverage.

If you do not have a Corporate Visa please discuss with your manager to make appropriate arrangements. The Purchasing Department can reserve rental cars on the College Corporate Visa on your behalf. The insurance associated with the Corporate Visa card excludes cargo vans, half tons or larger vehicles and the vehicle value must not exceed $85,000.00 MSRP. If a cargo van, half ton or larger vehicle is required or a rental term greater than 30 days is necessary, please consult Risk Management for insurance options.

When signing the contract for a rental car that is being rented using the College Visa, please decline insurance offered by the rental agency. When signing the contract, you should indicate “Algonquin College” in addition to your signature if it is not already referenced on the contract.
