Transfer of Academic Credit (Exemptions)
Admitted students may be eligible for Transfer of Academic Credit based on courses completed at another post-secondary institution or at Algonquin College. The completed course must be substantially equivalent to the course in your current program. Apply for Transfer of Academic Credit on ACSIS.

Advanced Standing
International applicants with successfully completed and relevant post-secondary education may apply for advanced standing in their program. This means that an International applicant, who receives exemptions in their could enter a program with fewer courses in level 01 or enter beyond level 01 and complete their credential in a shorter amount of time.
Risks: Shortening your study period within Canada can negatively impact Post Graduate Work Permit applications if the program shortens to less than the required duration for PGWP eligibility.
