Work Integrated Learning
Depending on the subject matter, teaching methods may be via classroom instruction, practical application, placement with an employer, or some combination of these elements. As an example, a business diploma may only require in-class study, but a certification in veterinary sciences will require hands-on work with animals. A variety of programs at Algonquin College require applied study or field placement for graduation; please review program websites carefully to ensure that you are fully informed about program expectations. For more information about admissions and graduation requirements specific to your program of choice, go to the program page by searching at the top right, or find your program here.
