Meal Plan
In addition to the Residence fees, a mandatory Two Term Meal Plan is required for all first-time residents. Should a student move into Residence during the Winter Term, a mandatory One Term Meal Plan will apply. Should the student return during the Fall Term, a second One Term Meal Plan will be mandatory. Additional meal plan options are also available above the light, mandatory plan.
Once paid, the funds for the meal plan are loaded into the account and will be active for the applicable terms. It is up to the student to keep track of and manage their spending.
Please note that residence staff are unable to offer customized payment plans for the Residence Meal Plan. If you wish to discuss a payment plan, please contact Food Services directly at 613-727-4723 ext. 5723 or email mealplans@algonquincollege.com.

*Two Term Meal Plans require a Minimum Usage of $3,060 by the end of the Second Term. Once paid, the funds for both terms of a two-term meal plan are loaded into the account and will be active for two terms. It is up to the student to keep track of and manage their spending.

**One Term Meal Plans require a Minimum Usage of $1,530 by the end of the Term Plan was purchased in. The official end dates for each term can be found on the Registrar’s Office Important Dates website.
The Light, Regular, and Premium Meal Plans are valid for food purchases only. Your food dollars must be spent within the time frame stated.
