Bridging Period Extension Form – Spring 2025

Please note that the Student Resident Agreement (SRA) and the Residence Community Living Standards (RCLS) are still in effect during the bridging period. There is also some additional information to be aware of:

1. There is a high likelihood that you may be required to change rooms during the bridging period. 48 hours notice will be provided to change rooms and all room changes must be completed by the deadlines provided as contractors are scheduled according to room change plans.

2. Staff or contractors will likely need to enter your residence room to perform annual preventative maintenance, special projects, and suite inspections which will be taking place during this period. Access may be required on multiple occasions and without advanced notice. Staff and contractors will always knock and announce themselves before entering your room.

3. There will be increased noise and other disruptions in Residence during the changeover period as staff and contractors conduct housekeeping, maintenance, and annual inspections. This may also include work being done during early morning and late night shifts.

4. Residence supervision and services are limited. The Front Desk will be staffed 24 hours during the bridging period, however, staff levels will be reduced and other Residence services will also be limited or unavailable.
