To be eligible for a guaranteed offer of Residence for Spring Term 2025, students must be a new international student enrolled in Spring Term Level 1 studies at Algonquin College and apply to Spring Term 2025 Residence by March 15, 2025.

The Spring Term 2025 Residence application opens in February 2025, register your contact information to ensure you are the first to be notified when the application window opens.

March 15, 2025 is the deadline to apply to Spring Term 2025 Residence for the Level 1 international student Residence guarantee. Subject to availability.

Early arrivals are approved on a case-by-case basis, and subject to availability and additional Residence Fees (pro-rated). Please consult with the International Education Centre to avoid any potential complications caused by arriving too early.

Spring Term, move out is noon on August 17, 2025. We are not able to accommodate requests to extend beyond this date.  If you require Residence for the Fall Term, you must submit a separate Fall 2025 Residence application (not guaranteed, spaces are offered on a first come, first serve basis).

Offers of Residence cannot be deferred to another term. If you are interested in Residence for Fall 2025 or Winter 2026, you must apply in a separate application. 2025/2026 Residence applications open in February 2025.

No, Meal Plans are not required for Spring Term Residence. A Two-Term Meal Plan is a minimum requirement for new Fall/Winter residents. Visit our Meal Plan site for more information.

In addition to the Residence fees outlined below, there is a $75 non-refundable application fee.

April 15, 2025 – Full refund of Residence Fees, excluding non-refundable Application Fee.

After April 15, 2025 – Cancellation Fee of $850 + charged each day a Residence room is occupied.

Residence applications for Fall 2025 will open in February 2025, and requires a separate application. For example, if you are interested in both Spring 2025 and Fall 2025, you must submit both applications separately. Please note that Fall 2025 is not guaranteed, and offered on a first come, first serve basis. We encourage prospective students to submit their Residence applications as early as possible.
