Sexual Violence Prevention Training – GIVEAWAY!

We are pleased to offer you this self-directed sexual violence awareness and prevention training in our ongoing efforts to foster a safe and respectful environment at Algonquin College. By completing this training, you will play an important part in creating a culture of consent and respect at our campus and throughout broader communities.
About the training!
There are four modules in this training. With the help of character-driven scenarios, you will learn about:
- Sexual violence and who is impacted
- How consent means more than “yes means yes”
- How to intervene if you see something inappropriate happening
- What to do if someone tells you they have been sexually assaulted
Having this kind of knowledge is a baseline for healthy relationships!

This term, you will also receive the NEW SVP badge that will go on your Brightspace profile after you complete the training! This badge represents your commitment to creating a campus and community free of sexual violence.
Participants who complete the modules and the quiz will be entered to win a weekly prize valued at $200. The earlier you complete the training and quiz, the more prizes you will have the chance to win! Prize winners will be drawn weekly on the following dates:
- May 24
- May 31
- June 7
- June 14
If selected, you will be contacted with a form to select your preferred prizes. Prizes may include gift cards to Food Services, Connections: The Campus Store, or other available prize options.
