When I first arrived at Algonquin College Sharon assisted me in settling into my new role. She provided everything I needed to start working such as my email account information to explaining the timesheet procedures to providing me with a print agenda for my desk. She went above and beyond her call of duty to send an email to all staff to find temporary accommodation for me until my apartment would be ready for occupancy in Pembroke.

Sharon alerted me to the products that Grand & Toy has at a significantly lower price than Brodart, the company I was initially going to purchase the same products from. She was able to help save us hundreds of dollars.

She regularly and consistently demonstrates excellence in her position by fulfilling her responsibilities in a timely manner. Overall, Sharon performs her duties efficiently and in a productive manner.

Sharon is always pleasant and helpful. She exemplifies the College’s values of caring, learning, integrity and respect on a daily basis. I feel she is the ideal candidate for this award.
