Patty Langille
Registrar’s Office
Since mid-July, the Registrar’s Office has been very busy creating student profiles for over 2,500 applicants to the new Occupational Specific Language Training program at the Algonquin Campus – Jazan, Saudi Arabia. During this period a particular Client Service Representative (CSR), Patty Langille, worked tirelessly to accomplish the task while continuing to ensure the usual daily tasks were completed. In addition the final tasks were completed during Start-of-Term which is one of the busiest times of year for the Registrar’s Office. Patty was able to balance the demands of the Jazan component with the demands of Start-of-Term. Not an easy task at any time.
Patty created at least 1,500 of these profiles and exhibited exemplary attention to detail and the end result was flawless.
On countless occasions she has cheerfully taken on many daunting tasks and you can always be assured that the work will be completed in a timely manner. Her work ethic is exemplary. Patty is very approachable and has a caring way of serving our students and her colleagues. She is a great role model for our CSRs and personifies the Registrar’s Office motto – Here to Help!
I am proud to nominate Patty Langille for the President’s Star Award given the contribution to the launching the new Algonquin Jazan Campus.
