It doesn’t matter when you contact her, Kelly Prudhomme always goes out of her way to help with student or staff issues. Whether they regard scholarship payments, refunds, or Employee Reimbursement for tuition requests, she always responds in a gracious and professional manner.

It was for one such occurrence that I nominated Kelly for a President’s Star award – she really went above and beyond and ‘shone’ to help out a student. This student contacted us looking to register in a GenEd course, but she couldn’t because she needed to pay her fees first. She couldn’t pay those because her fees had been deferred until she received a particular scholarship. Kelly promptly contacted the Foundations Office and arranged to have the funds transferred earlier to allow the student to register into her GenEd course of choice. Within a matter of a couple of hours, this student was able to register!

Her attention to detail, her continued dedication to staff and students, and her work ethic speaks for itself, and for those reasons I believe she deserves a President’s Star Award! Thank you Kelly for everything you do — we may not say often enough, but your hard work and dedication are exemplary!
