I would like to nominate Calvin Climie, Professor, General Arts and Science, to receive the President’s Star Award.

Calvin’s students find him to be a remarkable teacher as he is thorough in making sure his students truly understand the class material. Despite personal illness, he managed to keep his class time so students would not fall behind.

He is diligent in using Blackboard as he updates it after every single class and makes sure students have the information to excel in their program. I truly salute him for the extra hours that he gives to tutoring students that could fall between the cracks.

He is just an outstanding teacher that deserves this sort of recognition for his hard work. It is evident how much he values his students and their ability to learn and absorb knowledge. He is committed to helping students succeed.
