Bonnie Anderson
Registrar’s Office
Bonnie Anderson is a Client Service Officer in the Registrar’s Office and one of the most caring, efficient, hard-working members of the college. Even though she helps register and direct hundreds of students every day, she is always positive, happy to help with a problem or offer a suggestion, take on (yet another) task or respond that she is busy at the moment but will get on to the request as soon as she can.
As a coordinator in the School of Media and Design, I have so often been impressed with Bonnie’s hard work, how she is able to deal with our (seemingly endless) requests, her ability to multi-task and her humble attitude when I thank her and tell her how much I appreciate her help. I often forget that she not only works for my department, but for many others within the college, too! There have been many times when Bonnie has responded to an email request after work hours and I have been surprised and grateful that she has worked into the evening, past regular hours, to get a job done.
As someone who is the point of contact for many new students, she answers their questions tirelessly, points them in the right direction and helps us with what we need to ensure the students fit into the program with little problem. She is always professional, always respectful and always available for help and guidance. Bonnie is supportive to both staff and students and an important, valuable part of Algonquin. I am proud to work alongside her and thankful that she is on our team and don’t believe we would be as efficient and organized without her. Bonnie Anderson is indeed a star in our eyes.
