Amandah Selvey
Algonquin Centre for Construction Excellence
Amandah is a wonderful person and always has a positive attitude with everything she does. She is always one of the first to volunteer to assist with any event or visit that takes place at the ACCE building. When we have events in ACCE, regardless of the content, she is always there ready to help with our last minute needs, whether it be borrowing scissors, getting chairs, moving things.
Most recently Amandah shined brightly for the college during the November 1st Open House event. One of the visitors to the event fell ill and Amandah went out of her way to ensure the student was properly cared for.
As a resource for the students in the ACCE building she is always helpful and caring and when visiting Amandah in her office I have noticed many, many students seek out her help.
I also know that she helped Bill Roberts write up his bio when he was nominated (and won!) a Capital Educator Award, and then supported him by coming to the Edugala dinner.
Please do consider Amandah for a President’s Star Award as she very much deserves this recognition.
