Flo Gauthier
Centre for Continuing and Online Learning
Flo has been an asset to the College over her vast career and should be recognized for her dedication and commitment, not only to students and colleagues, but to the College as a whole. Flo is the type of person that will go above and beyond and her ultimate goal is to provide clients with the best College experience.
Flo supports many General Interest courses, as well as two key areas within the Centre for Continuing and Online Learning, which are the Taxi and Motorcycle programs. Both programs are extremely demanding with a high volume of student inquires and administrative support. A few examples of her dedication with these programs include her assistance with the Registrar’s Office to establish a better registration process for the Taxi program. The new process helped to better manage registrations and improve efficiency. Flo also works very closely with the College’s grounds crew to ensure the parking lot is a safe environment for the Motorcycle courses and also ensures there is adequate secure storage for the motorcycles. Flo will even come to the College on weekends (during her personal time) to ensure faculty have everything required to deliver a successful Motorcycle course – now that’s dedication!
With all that said, by far the most remarkable thing about Flo is her charming personality, positive attitude, and her big heart. A well deserving candidate for the President’s Star Award!
