Just before school started, my phone extension was terminated. It just stopped working one afternoon. After many emails to ITS and physical resources, there were many obstacles to determining what was actually wrong with my phone. Two weeks after trying to resolve the issue, Charles walked into Health Services for other reasons and I asked him if he was here to help me. He asked what was wrong and within two hours, I had my phone working again. He went straight to the network person and had him come to my office to re-activate the phone port. This is just one story about Charles. The nurses know that when Charles comes to help us with our IT challenges, he doesn’t leave until he fixes it. While all the ITS staff are extremely helpful, we wanted to acknowledge Charles’ diligence and understanding that Health Services is very dependent upon our IT systems. Thank you Charles!
