Always a cheerful hello, always a smile and a good story, and always always service that exemplifies the College’s Here 2 Help standard, Joe Corkery is a most deserving nominee for the President’s Star Award. Joe exemplifies the College values: his caring is evident in the time he takes the time to assist a “lost” student; he contributes to the learning of those with whom he works, ready with a story; he is trustworthy, honest and fair in all his interactions with staff and students and is respectful of all with whom he comes into contact. Joe is professional, committed, cheerful and dependable. I think I speak for all my colleagues in the Centre for Organizational Learning in saying that our day is complete only after Joe has dropped by to say hello. He brightens up our day every day!
Joe is an unsung hero who quietly and efficiently contributes to the smooth operation of the College and thereby the success of the students and employees. It is my pleasure to nominate Joe Corkery, a member of the Physical Resources team, for a President’s Star Award.
