Wayne McIntyre

Wayne McIntyre is a superb advocate for College community members with disabilities, whether the College member is student, faculty or staff. His caring demanour and his clear respect for all, is evident at all times, and mst recently on August 15, 2013. As an ambulatory person, I find it difficult to understand the challenges those with disabilities face in every day life. Wayne gracefully volunteered to spend an afternoon with me and assist me to understand how much a difference even one inch makes in the location of handles, buttons and the heights of curbs. His willingness to share those challenges some of our community face in the daily business of simply living made a deep impression on me; for that I thank him very much.
