Angela Clermont
IIRTS
Angela Clermont embraces Algonquin College’s core values and takes them to a new level by motivating cross-functional teams to work together to achieve great things for student success.
In September 2012, Angela dedicated her Labor Day weekend to ensure 40 classrooms were MLP (Mobile Learning Program) ready for the return of students by managing cross-functional activities and motivating all participants to achieve this seemingly impossible goal. She repeated the same feat at the end of October 2012 with the much anticipated opening of the new Pembroke Waterfront Campus. Even though the IT component was well under control and that was her focus, Angela expanded her role to ensure overall project success by working tirelessly with the on-site project management team. That was the key to student success in this case – do what it takes, above and beyond – that is Angela’s mantra.
Angela continues to work tirelessly but her new goal is to achieve student success without the emergencies by implementing a PMO (Project Management Office) in IIRTS.
