Christine Doody

School of Business

Christine Doody is a Professor in the Financial, Office & Legal Studies department. During the past two years she has been a wonderful support to me. In our department, we quite frequently have turnover in part-time instructors teaching in CCOL. As new instructors come on board, I like to connect them with full-time faculty for guidance, mentoring, and to ensure consistency from day-time to evening classes. Christine has consistently demonstrated a willingness to step up and help out these new instructors. She shares her resources, best practices, and most importantly, she shares her time. In many cases she meets with them one-on-one outside of business hours. Without exception the feedback I receive from these instructors – after meeting with Christine – is tremendous.

I believe Christine models the College’s values of Caring, Learning, Integrity, and Respect and is a most deserving recipient of the President’s Star Award.
