Lynn Berry is an exceptional candidate for the President’s Star Award because of the outstanding contribution she has made to the programs in the Office Administration division of the School of Business.
For the past year, Lynn has been working tirelessly to bring a new major program into our department. This is in addition to her existing job as the coordinator with the Office Administration – Legal and Office Administration – Executive programs. Thanks to her efforts, the department now offers a medical option in addition to the existing legal and executive programs. Students and industry both have been asking for such a program and it is thanks to Lynn’s efforts that a strong program now exists.
From meeting with professionals in the medical industry to developing the learning outcomes, Lynn has consistently demonstrated her commitment to our second-year students and the medical profession. She has taken great strides to ensure that our program is unique and that hands-on experience that the students receive is second to none. Curriculum has been designed to ensure that when students graduate, they are more than equipped to work in all areas of the medical profession.
Lynn has taken great care in selecting instructors for this program as well. All professors bring a strong skill set with them; all of them have several years experience in working in the medical profession.

This program can only serve to enhance the strengths of our existing office administration program and it is with great pleasure to I nominate Lynn Berry for this award.
