I would like to nominate Umit Gunaydin (ITS Service Desk Representative) for the President’s Star Award.

Umit has demonstrated an ability to resolve issues quickly and effectively. This permits faculty and students to concentrate on their main reason for being at Algonquin – teaching & learning.

Umit has also gone above and beyond the role of his position at Service Desk by developing applications which greatly increase productivity and automate processes, allowing the department and College to realize both cost and time savings.

In the short amount of time he has been here, Umit has proven to be a team player and someone clients can trust and depend on. He is the perfect candidate for this award.
