Algonquin graduates made up nearly half of the new Ottawa Police Service officers hired in 2018.

The OPS hired 65 new police officers — 31 of which were graduates of our program.
The news has been good for police foundations students across Ontario, with many law enforcement agencies hiring both in the National Capital Region and across Canada. Being in Ottawa, The Police and Public Safety Institute is proud to know that our students will be protecting our local community.
