Public safety in the context of this program is comprised of two primary themes: security and emergency management.

As a Police Foundations graduate are there any program pathways available to pursue this degree?

Are there co-op opportunities?

There is currently the potential for two co-op opportunities between level 5 and 6 of the program. While Co-op is facilitated by the College’s Co-op department, students are responsible for securing their own Co-op placement. Visit the College’s Co-op department for more information. Since co-op opportunities may exist outside of the area of your place of residence, students are responsible for any costs incurred in the decision to accept a co-op opportunity. Public Safety employers may require different levels of criminal record/background investigation/ and/or security checks. These can be quite comprehensive depending on the employer and nature of the opportunity.
