Job Description
EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY – PARKS AND RECREATION SUMMER STUDENT
Beckwith Township is now accepting student applications for the position of Parks and Recreation Summer Student to provide labour support to the Recreation and Public Works Departments. The Parks and Recreation Student will assist with maintenance of the Township parks. This will include cutting/ trimming grass, litter pick-up, emptying waste receptacles, painting/staining, trail maintenance, brush depot and other duties as assigned. The student may also assist the Public Works Department with road maintenance.
The successful candidate must be registered as a full-time student during the preceding academic year and intending to return to school on a fulltime basis during the next academic year. Consideration will be given to those who possess a valid Ontario drivers license, ability to work outside in all weather conditions and the ability to operate trimming equipment.
May – September – 40 hours per week.
