Job Description

Timber Run Golf Course in Lanark is hiring Students to work as Grounds Maintenance Crew Labourers. These are seasonal positions for high school, college, or university students.

Grounds crew labourers will start work as early as 5:30 AM and will normally work an 8-hour day. Workers can expect to work 34 hours per week. Students will be expected to work 5 hours a day on Saturdays and Sundays and 8 hours a day on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.

Grounds crew labourers will be operating equipment to mow grass, running weed eaters, weeding flowers beds, raking sand traps, emptying garbages, etc. Physical labour is a requirement. Workers may be digging holes, working on tree removal, and lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds at a time.

Wages start at $17.20. Experience is an asset but training will be provided.
