Role Description:
This is a full-time on-site role located in Munster, ON for a Senior Estimator. The Senior Estimator will be responsible for estimating project costs, conducting site visits, analyzing blueprints, collaborating with contractors and suppliers, and preparing accurate and comprehensive project bids.

Qualifications:

  • Estimating, Cost Analysis, and Blueprint Analysis skills
  • Collaboration, Communication, and Negotiation skills
  • Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in estimating within the civil construction industry, including infrastructure, roads, utilities, and site development.
  • Proven experience in preparing accurate cost estimates for large-scale civil construction projects.
  • Project Management and Construction Management experience
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Knowledge of construction materials and methods
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management Engineering, or related field an assett
  • Experience with tendering processes, bid submissions, and pre-construction planning.
  • Knowledge of local building codes, standards, and regulations.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
