Job Description
Top Shelf Distillers core objective is to provide memorable and unique experiences to all clients & community partners. In the age where craft distilling is on the rise, we are proud to be reviving the 200-year-old tradition of distilling in Perth.
We are in search of team members with strong customer-service skills that can ensure our customers have the best possible in-store experience. The ideal candidate enjoys interacting with customers, has strong interpersonal skills, and has past experience working in a fast-paced environment. As storefront specialist, you would play an integral role to ensure our clients leave with a lasting and memorable experience every time.
This position is primarily EVENINGS and WEEKENDS
RESPONSIBILITIES
High level of engagement with all customers.
Knowledgeable about Top Shelf Distillers portfolio and what’s coming-up.
Elevating our “Tasting Corner” experience to the clients.
Part of team executing events at distillery level.
Maintain cleanliness and organization in assigned areas.
Process all Point of Sale (POS) transactions accurately and efficiently while maintaining a friendly and professional demeanour.
Support with merchandising and marketing activities as needed.
Determining customer needs and recommending products for purchase.
Working together with the retail team to meet and exceed store objectives.
Ensuring customers are being provided with the best possible shopping experience.
Other tasks as assigned by your supervisor/manager.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Smart Serve Certified.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Adaptable in a fast-paced work environment.
Resourceful and courteous when resolving inquiries.
Flexibility to work a variety of hours which include days, evenings, and weekends.
Self-motivated with a strong work ethic.
TEAMWORK + COMMUNICATION
Positivity: contributes to the store by being positive, respectful, and helpful to others.
Team Player: collaborates with peers and leadership, sharing ideas and jumping in to support the needs of the team.
Adaptable: exhibits a willingness to learn and adapt; is flexible to change and open to try new ways of doing things.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 16 – 35 per week
Flexible Language Requirement:
French not required
