For Employers
Community Employment Services (CES) relies heavily on its established partnerships with local and regional employers to support its clients who are seeking employment opportunities. Also, we are always looking for new employers to utilize our services which include the following, and more:
- Helping employers find the right employees for the positions they are trying to fill.
- Assisting employers with the training costs involved in supporting new employees.
- Offering coaching and mentorship to our clients and employers to help strengthen the relationship between the employer and the employee.
- Developing Job Matching and Placement Incentives opportunities.
- Giving information to employers on government programs that they may not be aware of, such as the provincial Apprenticeship Tax Credit for employers who hire apprentices.
- Providing resumes for non-advertised positions and posting job opportunities in our busy Resource & Information Centre and on our web site. Click to access our Job Posting Request Form.
- Sharing of human resources tools such as how to set up a hiring selection committee, questions to ask in an interview, and much more.
If you are interested in accessing our services for employers, we suggest you call to set up an appointment to meet with one of our training consultants. At your first meeting, your official registration for services will be confirmed.
