Big Brothers Big Sisters of Lanark County is a dynamic organization dedicated to helping children reach their full potential through one on one and small group mentoring programs. The agency serves children throughout the County and works with many key partners to strive to provide every child who needs a mentor with a mentor.

We are a team that works hard, enjoys a flexible schedule, kicks off early on Fridays, and loves to lunch. We believe in an inclusive workplace and work hard to make a difference in Lanark County. The agency has key part time positions to fill for January of 2025.

Available Entry-Level Positions starting in January 2024:

WAK Program Facilitator (12 hrs/week, Monday through Wednesday, 2:30 – 6:30 p.m.)
The Program Facilitator will work as part of a cohesive team serving local youth in Smiths Falls. The program focuses on mental health promotion, physical activity, healthy eating, positive personal development and wellness and works to engage and support WAK participants and families in our community. An interest in social services and making a difference in the community is important.

Agency Promoter (14 hrs/week) Flexible schedule
The employee will be responsible for recruiting new mentors, children, and donors to the agency through outreach at events and festivals throughout Lanark County. They will also provide administrative support to the team in relation to fund development, social media, and mentor recruitment tasks. An interest in marketing would help in this role.
