Applying for PLAR

While we are doing our best to honour our usual turnaround times, you may experience some delays in the PLAR process this summer, depending on staff availability. In some cases, we may not be able to confirm PLAR eligibility or provide assessments until late August/early September — however, you are still able to apply.

To apply to PLAR a course, please fill in the application form below and attach a completed Self-Assessment Form, outlining your relevant life experience and how it relates to the Course Learning Requirements.

You will need to fill in this form and complete a self-assessment for each course you are applying to PLAR.

If you are applying to PLAR a General Education Elective, please see the Resources page and complete the appropriate self-assessment.

Please note: prior post-secondary academic experience is not eligible for PLAR. Please describe your work and other life experience on the Self-Assessment Form.
