Options 2025 is happening Wednesday, May 28

The award-winning Options Skilled Trades Career Fair program has introduced youth in Renfrew County to skilled trades career opportunities for almost two decades.

This great hands on event returns to the Pembroke Memorial Centre on Wednesday, May 28th as we showcase skilled trades careers and students compete in trades such as culinary, welding, carpentry, automotive, and hairstyling.

In 2007, the Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities recognized Options with an Award of Excellence for its grassroots effort to encourage more young people to pursue apprenticeship training to address the province’s critical shortage of skilled trades workers. Since then, hundreds of students who participated in Options have gone on to successful careers in the skilled trades.
