9:00-10:00am – Returning Students Social Hour

Come and join us in the Commons to reconnect with classmates and faculty/staff.

11:15 a.m.-12:00 p.m. – Mature Student Session-Getting Off to a Good Start at Algonquin College

Returning to school can be a really big deal for mature students.  If they have been away from formal schooling for some time, it is easy to have doubts as they start a college program.  But, we know that mature students bring a lot of life experience with them that can help them navigate any challenges they face.  To ensure mature students get off to a good start studying at the Pembroke Waterfront Campus, we invite them to attend an informal session with our campus counsellor, Shannon Sevigny, to learn tips on how to be successful in college.

11:15-1:00pm – Taking Care of College Business

During this time block, there will be different sessions happening around campus to help students with preparing for classes including campus tours, Centre for Accessible Learning appointments, Students’ Association information, textbook pick up, and more!

11:15-1:00pm – Lunch

Lunch is on us! Join us in the Student Commons for a free lunch.

11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. – The Centre for Accessible Learning Info Session/Registrations

Did you have an I.E.P. in high school, or are you a student who has a documented learning disability? Ensure that your accommodations are in place for AC Day One by registering with The Centre for Accessible Learning. We are running information sessions followed by live registrations every thirty minutes from 11:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m.

1:00-2:00pm – VIRTUAL Academic Program Orientation
