Join Toronto Maple Leafs Head Coach Sheldon Keefe for a Special Algonquin College and Algonquin Students’ Association FREE Speaker Series on Thursday, April 30 at 7 p.m.

Before he was the coach of the Toronto Maple Leafs, Sheldon Keefe helped lead the Pembroke Lumber Kings to five consecutive championships and a national Junior A title for the Kings in the spring of 2011. Keefe was also very generous with the college during his time in Pembroke, helping establish a bursary at the Pembroke Campus for students in financial need, while also contributing to the Waterfront Campus building campaign.

This one-hour session will allow students, college employees and the general public to submit questions to Keefe on all things hockey, including the suspension of the NHL season, his rise from Pembroke to being the coach of hockey’s most storied franchise and how his team has performed since he took over the bench of the Leafs.
